Freight Shipping & Additional Charges

Some orders may ship via freight services on a pallet, depending on size and weight. This typically applies to bulky items such as pipe and drape, glass charger plates, and similar large products. In most cases, this does not apply to standard table linen orders under $10,000.

Liftgate service is not included. However, palletized orders are packed into cartons, allowing for manual unloading in many cases without a liftgate.

If a liftgate or additional services (such as waiting time or redelivery) are required, additional carrier fees will apply and may be billed after delivery.

International Shipping, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & Alaska

Urquid Linen offers discounted international air express shipping rates.

To receive a shipping quote, simply add your items to the cart and proceed to checkout. Shipping rates will be calculated based on your order and destination.

If the shipping rate appears high, please contact us directly. Our team can review your order and provide a custom spot quote to help reduce costs whenever possible.

Customers may also arrange their own freight forwarder to pick up orders directly from our warehouse in Los Angeles, California.

Shipping Terms Summary

We recommend placing orders early, as delays may occur due to weather, carriers, or other factors beyond our control. Orders may ship in multiple packages and can arrive separately. Tracking information will be provided once your order ships. For urgent orders, expedited shipping is available upon request. Urquid Linen is not responsible for carrier delays, and any claims for expedited shipments are limited to the shipping cost paid and subject to carrier approval. Refused or returned shipments due to delays will be treated as unauthorized returns and may incur restocking fees.

Loss or Shortage

Upon delivery, verify the number of boxes received. If items are missing, contact the shipping carrier immediately and notify us. Claims must be documented, and original packaging must be retained. Approved claims will be replaced.

Damage During Shipping

Inspect your shipment upon arrival. Any visible damage must be noted at delivery and reported to us within 2 business day with photos. Keep all packaging. If approved, we will file a claim and send a replacement.

Concealed Damage or Shortage

If damage or missing items are discovered after delivery, notify us within:

  • 2 business days for damage or shortages.

Provide photos of the items and packaging. Once approved, we will process a replacement or send missing items.
